When your Muse inspires you, do you trust and follow through? I think my Muse talks to me a lot more than I listen. There have been times, though, when inspiration has struck and I fell into the rabbit hole and created night and day until I begged my Muse to let me rest.
This is my latest art journal spread that I completed on Thursday which is actually the first one I've done in months. I'm beginning to listen again.

Day 11: #OctPoWriMo2020
ReplyDeleteI am able to relate to the theme of the day all the more since I simply didn’t listen to my Muse and missed expressing myself completely last year as well as the year before that. I am sure my blog must have wondered whether I have forgotten about its existence! Not so long ago I used to spend quality time with this acquaintance : My Blog page !
So today’s composition is dedicated to My Muse, who thankfully has decided to stay this time and Yes, I am listening eagerly!
Poetry form: Rispetto

ReplyDeleteCheated today. This was written some time ago. Not happy with my OctPo work these last two poems. Hence, didn't mark it as "Day Eleven."
ReplyDeleteThis may be the last I got this year. We'll see tomorrow.
