Today was a rollercoaster of emotions. Something happened this morning that made me so angry and it was difficult for me to come out of that. When I finally did it was like I crashed and then cried at the drop of a hat. Part of it is I'm tired, part is the stress and anxiety of everything going on right now in my life and in the world. This afternoon and evening was better.

ReplyDeleteAnd Morgan, thank you so much for introducing me to the Moffat brothers! Wow and wow!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm so happy when the music I find makes someone else happy. I love introducing new music to others when I'm able to do that.

My poem is off prompt, but the prompt helped me write something else that I was unable to write before, so I'm really happy with it. Thank you Morgan!

ReplyDeleteDay 28#OctPoWriMo2020
ReplyDeleteThe current situation has given me ample amount of time to spend with myself. I have journeyed along paths that were hidden to my busy eyes. These experiences have been fulfilling and memorable. I learnt to value each and every moment and live in the present instead of dwelling in the past. Getting entangled into memories that cause pain deprives us of experiencing so many happy moments that life has in store for us.
This poem is dedicated to that journey inwards.
