When I think of writing poetry and art journaling, it is a type of falling. I come to the page and take the plunge, head first, and then the rest of my body falls in. Sometimes I feel like I'm flailing about, and other times I'm soaring.

Poetry Prompts:
Write for ten minutes allowing your words to go where they want to go, let them fall onto the page. If you weren't afraid, what would you write? Follow the words. Breathe, step forward, and fall.
Word Prompts:
Falling
Breathe
Fearless
Poetry Type:
The Blitz Poem is one of my favorites and I think it is a good one for this prompt. If you haven't tried this form yet, I hope you will.
Or
Music and Dance:
These two allowed themselves to fall into the music, to let go of fear, and follow the notes. I want to be this fearless with my words and art.

Day 4 and a new Challenge!
ReplyDeleteFalling and Blitz form of poem, an interesting combination. When I think of "falling", I think about "falling in love,", " falling into the world of creativity", " The Autumn season: season of falls"," falling into the unknown" since thats what I experience when I start writing. It's more like travelling without knowing the destination but that's what makes the journey more interesting and the experiences collected along the way become priceless.
So I am writing about my journey each time I sit and think about writing a poem. The concept, the words that follow, the rhyme, the form ....all are stops along the way that makes each moment so preciously memorable.
