OctPoWriMo Day 18

Today I took time to rest and process feelings that were weighing heavy on me. Lately, the best way I know of processing my feelings is through painting. It is what works for me.

I spent the afternoon and evening on this. I mostly used my fingers to paint and painted my hand and pressed down for the handprint. All of the hearts that I drew, reminded me that it always comes back to love and healing my heart.

  10. Day 18 #OctPoWriMO2020

One of the ways that works for me to process my feelings is decoration , be it decorating my room, or my work station or my drawing, I feel rejuvenated once I am done with it.This helps me to relax and breathe in positivity. My poem for today is based on this journey of falling into the pit of darkness, then clinging on to the light of hope through creativity and then overcoming the darkness with happiness and all that is positive.

  16. This was written on time but my blog is still private, and the posting on Insta is not exactly done right away (I'm thankful for my manager though, who knows way more about it than I), so here you are, my day 18th poem. On prompt for once.
I had a day 17 in my head but was too tired to type it up to screen and... and my heart was then too heavy to get it back out there.
