Sorry, no moving to the wild rhythm today.

I think my moving to the wild rhythm got up and went along with my get up and go.
DeleteHonestly, most of the time lately I don't feel like dancing either, I just feel broken. I try to make the posts a little lighter though as not to scare everyone away with all of the darkness of my heart.

I couldn't find a place to leave a comment (maybe I'm just dense).
DeleteGreat poem! When I was a kid growing up in New Mexico, the Navajo tribe would have a powwow at the high school every Friday, and everyone was welcome. I thought it was a great way for people of all races to connect and learn to understand each other was well as learning more about the Navajo people.
Mine is neither dancey nor magical.

ReplyDeleteMy Favorite Poetry type is Acrostic and the theme of the poem today is “Magic in My Life” where I try to search for magic and happiness in the daily hullabaloo of life.
Started with the theme in mind, but as I progressed , my thoughts took a different turn, hence finished on a different note.

Day-17

Here's a little bit of fun, I guess this one's on-prompt without even looking at it sideways.

Day 17. My poem has nothing to do with the prompt today although I did use some of the suggested words. A little step back in history for this one.
