OctPoWriMo Day 4

Today was beyond crazy for me and I'm quite exhausted. By the way, if you are curious about what is going on in my life, I write Uncensored Me on my Patreon where I try not to hold anything back. I have also decided to start filming my progress of changing a shed into a cottage for me to stay in my daughter's backyard which I am only sharing in Shadow Gold.

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill

of things unknown but longed for still

and his tune is heard on the distant hill

for the caged bird sings of freedom.”
― Maya Angelou, The Complete Collected Poems

Poetry Prompts:

Have you ever felt like you were in a cage? It could have been a silver or gold cage, but it was still a cage. Was the door open or closed? Was it of your own making or did you feel like you really couldn't get out? Did you get out, and if you did, how? Free write for ten minutes pondering one or all of those questions.

Word Prompts:

Locked
Closed
Silver and Gold
Coffin
Crate
Birdcage

Suggested Poetry Type: Tetractys

Music to move and write to:

Oh, oh, oh! I almost forgot! I was interviewed for OctPoWriMo by Nicole Rivera. You can listen to it here.

Peace,
