Writing Poetry Challenge - Tip 3

Now that you have the type of poetry mostly figured out, and where you are going to be posting your poems, it is time to take a look at what you will be writing about.

It is going to be October after all, and that is traditionally magical in nature or of a horror theme. The possibilities are so very intriguing. It could be about murder and mayhem or flights of fancy. I know my poetry prompts are going to be all of the above and then some. But as I said before you can choose to write about whatever you like; they will be your poems after all.

Tip Three: Begin writing down themes of possibilities for your poems, you don't have to stick with one but having an idea of various themes is helpful.

Here is a site of Autumn Poems which is another angle to look at. Don't forget to Follow by Email in the upper right corner so that you make sure you don't miss any of the tips before October begins.

I can't wait until October begins to see what you have come up with!
